Section I – Organization
The name of this
organization shall be the LAKE PLEASANT SACANDAGA ASSOCIATION,
INC., organized under the Membership Corporation Law of the
State of New York.
Section II – Purposes
 The purposes
for which this corporation is formed are:

To secure united action in the
protection of the property and property rights of its
members.

To represent its members in all
matters of common interest before the State Legislature,
Town of Lake Pleasant, Hamilton County, Village of
Speculator, and all other legal entities with which its
members may be concerned.

To encourage the stocking of waters of
Sacandaga Lake and Lake Pleasant and the woods in the
vicinity thereof with fish and game.

To render aid and assistance in the
proper enforcement of the laws in the State of New York
applicable to the conservation of fish and game.

To conserve and increase the scenic
and natural beauties of the area encompassed by the
corporation.

To promote, carry on and advance
social gatherings and courtesies among its members and to
insure the organized support of activities for the pleasure
and recreation of the members thereof.

To recommend to the State Legislature
and to the governing bodies of the several political
subdivisions of the State suggestions for legislation to
further the purposes of this corporation as set forth in its
certificate and constitution.

To purchase
real estate and erect a clubhouse thereon for benefit of
members of said club, if they so desire.
Section III – Amendment or Repeal
This
Constitution may be amended or repealed by a majority vote of
those present at an annual meeting of the Association, notice
of such proposed change having been given at a previous
meeting and a copy of proposed amendment or repeal having been
sent to each member of the Association.
