Proposed Changes to LPSA By-Laws
Proposed By-Law Changes
The LPSA Board of Directors is proposing a set of changes to our By-Laws. The Board is asking members to vote to approve the changes at our Annual Meeting, on August 25.
The revised By-Law will includes changes to the term limits of Directors and term limits for Officers.
This document will more clearly identify our "Community Partners" who are members of our Board, representing the Town of Lake Pleasant, the Village of Speculator, Hamilton County Soil and Water Conservation District (HCSWCD), and CAMP-of-the-WOODS.
Other changes in the document make provisions for email and electronic communication to replace U.S. Mail. The document also includes several changes intended to remove unnecessary detail and remove vagueness in some of the paragraphs.
